After his studies at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, Hervé Di Rosa presented his first Parisian exhibition, « Finir en beauté » (« A blaze of glory »), in 1981. Then the artist has been in the spot lights in Amsterdam and Düsseldorf, and after that at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. Laureate of the Medicis Fundation, he spent two years in New York, where Barbara Gladstone Gallery presented his work. He partipated to the Biennal event 1985 in Paris, for which he made the poster.
In 1989, Hervé Di Rosa collaborated for the first time with local artists, realizing two serigraphies in an advertising printing workshop in Tunis. In 2000, he founded the International museum of Modest arts, in Sete.
From Sogetsu Kai Kan Foundation in Tokyo, to the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach, via the Evo Gallery in Santa Fe, the artist travels across the world to interlace the cultures and the expression ways of each country he lives in.
