Works of art for sale by BERNARD RIVES.

Born in Carcassonne, fascinated by the esthetics, Bernard RIVES pursued higher education in Cologne, Germany, where he studied at the Higher Institute of Photography. He then settled down as a photographer in Barcelona in 1974. He worked in collaboration with important advertising agencies such as Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA.
Feeling more attracted to sculpture, he began to shape a number of works in self-taught, with his bare hands. His subjects of preference are women's bodies and animals. 
His debuts in this domain are more than promising since he has been granted, at his very first exhibition, the Paul Ricard Foundation's First Prize.

His sculptures are now shown in France, Switzerland, Dubai and Spain, and they raise general enthusiasm at each exhibition.
His major creations refer to a horse or a bull, both standing on one leg, both elegant and with an extreme refinement, with the result that they have been noticed by a great number of gallery owners and private collectors.
